Sharing the Good News

Have you been to great restaurant lately or seen a good movie? How many people did we tell about it? If sharing your faith were as easy as talking about a great restaurant or a good movie, would we do it more?

You may have heard that there is a new LifeQuest class starting this week on how to share your faith. This course is 4 weeks long and will begin this Sunday at 9:15 AM. When I originally envisioned this course, I wanted to create something that allowed people to practice together talking about our faith in a way that wasn’t any more intimidating than talking about our favorite food or a movie we recently saw. It can be done!

The problem is that Satan has fooled us into thinking that people don’t want to hear what we have to say about our faith. The truth is that people really want to hear from us, they just don’t want to be judged, preached at, or stalked. This course is designed to give practical information and then practice how to talk about our faith. It isn’t hard and will be fun – I know some of you are groaning at that, but think about how great it will be to knock down the barrier Satan has erected around us and our ability to share our faith. Think about how great it would be to share what is so significant in our lives so that others can experience the joy we have.

As we cast our vision forward and look at the future of LifeSpring Harrison, we see numerous things coming into place that will help us to get where we want to go. One of those things is people who are energized and want to share the good news with others. This class is the first of 2 classes this summer that will begin to set the stage for some explosive growth this fall. We would really like to see you be a part of it and would really like you to invite the people in your group to be a part of it with you.
